2015 - International benchmarking is introduced to ensure educational standards are reflected in student achievement. International Indian School Abu Dhabi is constructed. Little Pearls Nursery opens for admissions in Al Ain.
2013 - The Curriculum is reviewed and staff are trained to develop a Syllabus that is closely aligned with the newly developed National Curriculum of England. Continuous Assessment is introduced.
2011- AS and A Levels (CIE) were introduced for Years 11 and 12 students
2010 - Global Education Solutions created to develop new schools in the UAE and India as well as consultancy services in the UAE and internationally.
2007- Global English School adopts the British Curriculum and introduces IGCSE from Cambridge International Examinations (CIE)
2003 - The Indian Islahi School becomes Global English School (GES)
1989 - His Excellency Sheikh Sayeed bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan laid the foundation stone for the first building constructed on the present site in Al Falaaj District.
1982 - The Indian Islahi School opens under the management of our revered current Chairman Mr P.K. Mohammed Ansari. The School was originally located in Niyadath and was the second Indian Private school in Al Ain. The school began with 18 students, both boys and girls.
